Mondeor woman missing after taxi ride

Missing

Story:

A routine taxi ride from town to Southgate Mall has ended in worry, panic and fear for the Jegels family.

Their daughter Alegraine boarded a taxi bound for the mall in the South of Johannesburg last week Thursday and has not been since.

A missing person’s report has been filed at the Mondeor Police Station and the family is frantic with worry.

The 29-year-old was wearing a white t-shirt, with light- and dark-blue stripes, blue jeans and grey pumps at the time of her disappearance.

Jegels is of slim build and is missing her bottom teeth. Reports indicate that she was last seen in the Mondeor area at 4.45 pm on October 5.

They are calling on anyone with information which may lead to her safe return, to contact their nearest police station.

The silly season is upon us and with it an increase in crime and missing persons.

With this in mind, we would like to urge residents to exercise vigilance and caution as they go about their business.

In the words of ‘Police File’ presenter Colin Fluxman, “Keep them peeled.”
