Pick ‘n Pay thanks Protea community for support over the last 5 years

The fun never stops in Protea as the Pick ‘n Pay store situated inside the Protea Glen Mall celebrated its fifth birthday anniversary.

The hosted an event for all their stakeholders namely, their customers, suppliers, directors and staff to thank them for the support they’ve given them since its inception.

Staff members, who worked there from the beginning, were recognized for their loyalty and dedication over the years through by being awarded long-service certificates on the day.

Residents were not left out in the cold as the store offered in-store promotions throughout the weekend with special offer deals that ended on October 1.

There will be a lucky draw for customers to win prizes such as a washing machine, garden umbrellas, garden chairs, t-shirts, corporate gifts etc.

100 people attended the celebration and senior staff members thanked the support of the community for accepting them and allowing them to operate in this area.

Choral music filled the air as they celebrated their birthday.

To put even bigger smiles on the faces of attendees, they were told that the Protea Glen branch was nominated as the 2nd best store in Pick ‘n Pay store in the country.

One of the directors of the store Vuka Khumalo said in his speech that in the next 5 years, they intended to become the best store in the entire franchise.

He and his partner Bonnie Sachane were honoured on the day by receiving this year’s Chairman’s Award sponsored by the franchise for their contribution to the entire franchise.
