Writers workshop undercards

Following the success of the launch his book, Lesego Tau, the author will be hosting the Township Writers Lecture workshop at Kopanong Community Centre soon.

Tau will be taking participants and aspiring authors through a step by step lecture, covering a range of subjects including the below themes:
understanding self-publishing, generating a catchy book title, brainstorming a manuscript, creative writing process, acquiring your International Standard Book Number (ISBN), the editing process, proofreading process, layout, design, and typesetting, knowing your market and selling your book.

“We cannot do the same mistakes as our ancestors did; we need to document our own narratives. It is doable and it will be done in townships,” said Tau.

According to Tau, the actual date of the event will be out to the public soon, but the event is expected to take place in November.
