Khuzeka soon to hit our small screens
Farm Town Madness Film Production unleash their debut 90 minutes short film called Khuzeka.
Lead writer and director Edie “Mampudi” Mafoko said the film is about Victor who fell in love with lady Lindiwe whose brother Sticks is a notorious township gangster.
“Sticks opposed the relationship of the couple and used any available intimidation tactics in the book trying to separate the loving couple.
“Sticks was later imprisoned for his criminal activities and both couples finally got engaged,” explained Mafoko.
He said the movie is about love, crime, and vandalism. Mafoko said the integral message the story send to the public is that crime doesn’t pay.
The musical background in the movie is compiled by Edie “Mampudi” Mafoko and Leqwa Kabo Gopo.
Tshepo Mokwena is the movie producer. The movie was filmed the entire month of July and they are currently busy writing the movie subtitles and will be complete soon.
“We will be sending the movie to various television stations including Soweto Television, E movies, West Rand TV, Zambezi TV and other interested channels,” said Mampudi.
