Introducing Belincia George, a versatile woman who prides herself in developing every area of her life and honing each into the success she envisions it to be.

Belincia is passionate about people, development, forward thinking, and empowerment. Her passions include developing her profession, business and entrepreneurship endeavours as well as community initiatives.

A part of what Belincia does, being her nine-to-five job, is being employed at Alexander Forbes as a risk operations manager. She has been qualifying her expertise in the retirement fund sector since 1991.

To aid her experience Belincia is further pursuing a higher certificate in financial planning at Milpark College.

Her most recent endeavour is “Gingerly Gorgeous”, a newly registered image and style company, a vision which had come to life upon the foundation of her diploma in image and style coaching.

She decided to use her passion for fashion to make a difference in people’s lives through building up confidence and self-respect in each person she renders her services to.

Her services range from styling looks for special occasions to daily wear. By embracing one’s style, you introduce the world to a bit of who you are.

She lives by the motto: ‘When you look great you feel great – style is more than just an outfit, it’s a way of life‘.

Belincia is one of seven children who was raised with strong Christian values; she is a passionate believer and an active member of her church as well as her community.

Her generous principles are founded on growing up very impoverished which is why she decided to make her stumbling blocks the next generation’s stepping stones.

As such she is passionate about helping and motivating people never to give up by initiating various community projects. She believes that your past should not be your residence but a motivation for better, better circumstances, a better life and a better person.

In the words of Kevin Spacey: “If you are lucky enough to do well, send the elevator back down.”

She is a finalist in the Mrs Commonwealth pageant and is trusting God for complete success. The Mrs Commonwealth SA Pageant aims to empower women of all ages with a platform to bringing sustainable change which focuses primarily on social upliftment.

Her life’s mantra is, ‘Hope is the companion of power and the mother of success’. George said, “My main aim in life is to give hope to the hopeless and set the captives free.”

“I always host events in Eldos to speak to women. I hosted the following events such as high teas, talk shows, phenomenal woman celebrations, and wellness day. I hosted the wellness day at the Don Mateman center of which I feel was my highlight of the year.”

“More than 500 people attended this event and we served them with breakfast. We had the Pinkdrive there for the ladies to do breast cancer checks. HIV test, Pap smears, and many other tests were done. A few of the ladies were referred to hospitals to get themselves checked out.”

George added, “God has called me to bring change in the lives of the woman and young ladies not just in Eldos but in the nation.”
