64-year-old woman shot 4 times in Tladi

Naledi Police have confirmed the murder of a 64-year-old woman that happened in Tladi.

It is alleged that the woman was shot by an unknown African man while trying to open the gate of her home.

The woman was shot four times in the upper body and was rushed to the nearest hospital.

Police spokesperson Thulani Mbambala said, “On arrival, we found the victim lying flat on the ground bleeding.

“We managed to get a description of the man. We hope to arrest the suspect soon. An investigation is underway.”

The incident happened on Wednesday, August 30.
