Real rhapsodies at the Eldorado Stadium

"We are here to worship God and also to encourage others to have a glorious life in Jesus Christ.”

The Eldorado Park community is reeling from the high number of people who are victims of substance abuse and teenage pregnancy.

Reach Out South Africa (ROSA) took it upon themselves to host a conference at the stadium in Extension Nine which served as a time to be free and worship God.

Andile Ndalo, Lisa and Debrah Moyo, who attended the conference said, “We are here to worship God and also to encourage others to have a glorious life in Jesus Christ.”

Esayas Anoya from ROSA said, “We distributed free Rhapsody copies, which is a daily devotion book, and as a team, we are fighting against teen pregnancy and substance abuse, targeting the Eldorado Park community where substance abuse is high. We are here to bring the word of God to show them that there was something else to focus on other than drugs.”

Shalom Pinyolo from ROSA said, “This makes it special because there are many people who are faced with challenges when it comes to the general substance abuse and teenage pregnancy, which is quite common in this and many other communities.”

Mary-Claire Dube, the leader of ROSA added, “Jesus is the only way and the only answer, which is exactly what we came to showcase here today in Eldorado Park.”

Nadia Frayster, from Victory Outreach Ministries, said, “I really enjoyed the concert.” The day was filled with joy and musical pieces as there were performances on stage, all giving glory to God.
