Premier David Makhura launched the Empower a Girl to Lead campaign at Aurora Girls Secondary School.
Kicking off Woman’s Month, Gauteng government officials made their presence felt in Soweto during the launch the a girl empowerment campaign today.
Said to last for five years, the campaign is aimed at addressing issues that girls face at schools through a dialogue session with 10 learners from five different local schools.
