A breakdown of all criminal activities: Naledi Police crime report

The Naledi Police under the representation of communications spokesperson Thulani Mbambala confirmed that they have arrested about 25 suspects for crimes ranging from theft, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of dagga, possession of ammunition, contravention of the Liquor Act, possession of stolen property, house breaking and theft while the police also recovered one motor vehicle.

Last week Tuesday

– The police shut down 10 illegal shebeens for operating without licenses and also issued fines to the owners

– A 24- year- old man from Zola was arrested for possession of dagga

On Saturday

– The police recovered a white truck that was reported hijacked in Meadowlands, the vehicle was recovered at Bolani road in Tladi

– A man from Naledi was arrested for being in possession of live ammunition, he was found with 5 live rounds after the police received a tip-off from a law abiding citizen

– A man from Emndeni was arrested for house breaking and theft

– Another man was also arrested for theft after he was found in possession of stolen electrical appliances

– The police also arrested six men for being in possession of dagga in the Naledi policing areas

On Sunday

– The police arrested a man from Naledi for contravention of the Liquor Act and fined him R1500

– Two men from Emndeni were arrested for possession of a stolen Sony plasma television set

– A man from Emndeni was arrested for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm after assaulting a 42-year-old man

– The police also arrested two men for possession of dagga in separate incidents
