Finance Minister leaves Jabulani youth in smiles (WATCH! exclusive videos of Gigaba and Mthimkhulu)

Melusi Gigaba spends 67 munites at Kholwani and unveils new library under the department's schools infrastructural development initiatives.

The minister of finance Melusi Gigaba spent his Mandela Day with pupils from Kholwani Primary school in Jabulani.

Not only was the minister giving 67 minutes of his time to fulfil the Mandela day, but he was at the school to launch an initiative that had been started at the school in collaboration with his department.

The initiative is a school infrastructural development project that comprises of a number of departments and entities.

Being one of the oldest schools in Jabulani, Kholwani had been an old school that was beginning to show its age with some infrastructural damages such as cracking ceilings and walls.

Brand new library unveiled at Kholwani Primary.

Currently, there has been a new block of classrooms that have been added along with a library which the minister came to officially open.

After the unveiling of the library, the minister spent more of his time setting up a mini soccer field which pupils used to play friendly games against each other.
