The Boys FC makes a pulsating comeback

In the Greater Eldorado Park community, it can be said that soccer is a great deal to our community.

Every Sunday footballers come out in masses to compete in their local league. It has become a tradition to many, where Sundays are soccer days.

People from all over the community come out to support their friends and families as they go head-to-head and battle it out on the field. For a lot of people, once you’ve reached the age of 35, you are no longer fit enough and seen as over-the-hill.

On the contrary, in the Eldorado Park Senior Ex-Pro League, there are many over 35 talented men in the league that come out to show off their skills in the sport.The league has grown from just being a local league to having teams from Noordgesig, Eden Park, Riverlea as well as Freedom Park compete.

On Sunday, July 8, one of the games that were played was Hotline Football Club versus The Boys Football Club.

From start to finish this was an action-packed match with goals galore.
In the first 45 minutes, it was evident that Hotline FC kept the ball rolling in their court, as they scored a total of three goals.

Hotline FC goals were scored by strikers Jason and Moonsamy.

Second half flipped Hotline FC over, like an omelette for breakfast. The Boys FC’s former Kaizer Chiefs player, Tshepo Molatedi, took matters into his own hands as he scored all four goals to claim a glorious victory.
