Local business receive a business presentation

Progressive Business South Africa, Siboniso the vision and Prima Quality Meat are willing to support local businesses so that they can become successful.

Progressive Business Council South Africa held a Cooperatives and Business meeting at Meadowland Primary School on June 1, where local business owners were invited to attend the meeting that was organised by Sebenzile Shabalala the founder of Siboniso the vision.

“We are concerned about small business not being successful in the community.

“We have noticed that South African business crumble because people do not support them.

“We decided to do something to assist and make their business grow.

Shabalala said now they have started with the cooperatives but will also include other local business.

“We will be working together with the councillor of Ward 43 to oversee that small business grow,” said Shabalala.

Ward 43 councillor Happyboy Molobye was given a chance to welcome the visitors.

“This is a way of opening up opportunities for cooperative to be active in the economy.

“We urge more cooperatives to participate in this program of a progressive business council,” said Molobye.

Chairperson of progressive business council Pat Mamabolo said that they have realized that cooperatives have been divided with community business and for creating employment opportunities.

“We realized that these need for a market and productivity to up skill the entrepreneurs.

“South African people do not understand how cooperatives are structured.

“Jewish, Indians etc work in groups to produce good results,” said Mamabolo.

Mamabolo said that to be a successful entrepreneur is not about working individually, but install the culture of working in a group as a community.

“We are going to bring several projects in the community for people with small business and they don’t have to pay a cent for it,” explained Mamabolo.

Mamabolo said that they have partnered with different stack holders to make our project a success.

“We have a vision that in 2020 this project will have reached a target,” said Mamabolo.

The owner of Prima Quality Meathttp Yolanda Klow said that her aim is to empower the mobile cooperatives with a mobile butchery.

“We will be delivering and giving block training to the cooperatives.

“What the cooperatives will have will benefit the cooperatives.

“We will apply for DTI business funds so that we can be able to buy containers for cooperatives,” concluded Klow.

Shabalala said that people with cooperatives to come to the fore we are willing to assist you in growing you business People.

“I am growing my vision so that the community can benefit from it, soon Siboniso will be starting road shows.

“In the road show we will be giving presentations about Small business,” concluded Shabalala
