WATCH: KoPosong closes its doors with a bang

Favourite hangout spot now a church.

Since its establishment, KoPosong quickly became a favourite hangout spot for Eldorado Park residents eager to enjoy a fun-filled night out.

When looking for venues for a particular event, whether it is for a wedding, a birthday party, or DJ’ing event, KoPosong is chosen by many.

The venue closed on May 29, after it was sold and will now, ironically, become a church. According to the caretaker, it was sold because the increase in violent incidents by rowdy elements made it unfeasible for the owners to continue operations.

In closing off the once spectacular venue, KoPosong hosted their very last event and did so with a bang with Lady Zamar.

This dynamic talented songstress is featured on many summer hits, including Lulo Cafe‘s Dark Shadows and Prince Kaybee‘s Charlotte.

The singer, whose real name is Yamikani Janet Banda was born in Mamelodi, North-East of Pretoria.

Lady Zamar made her appearance at the closing and arrived fashionably late, in true artistic style.

Despite the anxious crowd, Zamar and her crew put on a show and had partygoers going wild, with the entertainment going well into the wee hours.
