Naledi Police Station detectives have arrested a second suspect for being an accomplice to the murder of a 27-year-old female from Naledi.
Police managed to arrest a 34 – year-old Malawian national on Monday at about 2 pm for being involved in the crime that occurred between the early hours of last week Saturday and Sunday.
The first male suspect aged 38, a Lesotho national who was arrested on Monday morning.
He confessed that he was with the 34-year-old Malawian national during the murder of the woman.
Upon investigation, the police found blood-stained clothes in their shacks in Tladi Camp and took them for DNA.
Both suspects appeared last week Wednesday at the Protea Magistrate Court on charges of murder and rape.
Their case was postponed to 29 May 2017 and was remanded in custody, investigations are still underway.
