Eskom warns of planned power outages due to maintenance of boxes
Power utility Eskom has issued a warning to residents of Orlando West about planned electricity outages.
These outages are due to the maintenance of boxes and they will be carried out today and tomorrow.
As from 9:00 am to 23:00 pm today and tomorrow, residents of Orlando West can expect to have no electricity.
“In the interest of safety, all electrical appliances must be treated as live at all times during the outage period.
“Residents are also urged to note that should circumstances beyond the control of Eskom arise, the planned outages may not proceed as communicated,” said Eskom spokeswoman Inocentia Zabala.
