Preserving our culture is key

They have been together for about ten years and have been performing in different places.

Although we are leaving in the modern and westernized environment, but culture and norms will still and always describe who we are.

Of late, people seem to be forgetting who they really are and where they come from and that is where we are losing ourselves.

On the same tone, it is so motivating and good that we still have people who believe in our cultures as Africans.

The People of Protea Gardens were honoured to have the Tshebo Cultural Root Culture Group and the Dithakadu Cultural Group perform for them.

The two groups’ performances were aimed at showcasing talent and music promotion.

“We have been together for about ten years and have been performing in different places. Passion and love motivated us to end up recording our music,” explained Monnapule Masigo from Thebo Caltural Group.
