Victorious queen Mokoba shines
Mathuto Makoba walked home R1000 richer.
Mathuto Mokoba (17) was crowned the overall winner of the Second Edition of Mr and Miss Blessed M Foundation ambassadors recently held at David Pine Hall in Dobsonville, Soweto.
The foundation chairperson Busisiwe Mmotla said they are excited that 18 participants were crowned on the day.
“They will all participate in our ongoing campaigns and charity work throughout the year. Makoba walked home R1000 richer.”
Makoba also won the modeling contract with the modeling agency and photo shoot.
The emotional Makoba said it was for the second time participating in the event. On her first attempt, she made it to the top six.
“This time around I’m happy to be crowned the overall winner. I previously featured in several beauty pageants without success. This victory means a lot to me,” said Makoba while accepting her crown.
The Supreme Teens winner category is Natasha Mthobothi, Novice winner category is Nhlanhla Skhosana and Miss Teen category winner is Karabo Sengwayo, Mbali Zikode is the Beauty Pageant winner, Mr King of Pageant category winner is Arnold Nzamane and King of Pageant winner is Bongane Hlophe.
