Amanda Venter singing the gospel, Eldos

The 44-year-old is using her gift to inspire

Gospel music has long been an integral part of Eldorado Park. The area boasts a number of churches where praise and worship is an essential part of any church service.

Eldorado Park has produced some great gospel artists who have gone on to grace the biggest stages the country has to offer.

Amanda Venter (44), is just such an artist. Keen to spread the Word through the gift of song, she has just completed her debut album titled ‘Holy Ground’.

This solo artist aims to reach as many people as possible and said,”I want to promote gospel music and give listeners a glimpse of my life as a testimony to others through music.”

The album contains cover versions of crowd favourites such as ‘Going up yonder’, ‘What a friend we have in Jesus’, ‘Holy ground’ and two classic instrumentals.

Venter plans to form a group with other gospel artists who may be able to provide backing vocals for performances.

Venter added, “Music is a gift from God and I was drawn to singing at an early age because I realised that I can inspire and strengthen people through music.”

“The moment you sing a song, it tells who you are and tells your story.”

The album was recorded at Praise Him production studios and bookings for Amanda Venter may be made by contacting manager Ronald Krouwkamp on 074 223 8274 or Amanda Venter on 076 892 6729.

Interested parties may also contact her using the e-mail facility a.t.venter10@ gmail.com
