6-JoinTz CreaTives invites netball enthusiasts to attend a workshop to be held at the Lutheran Church in Meadowlands Zone 9 situated next to the Fiat sports centre on March 4 at 11h00.
The purpose of the workshop is to share ideas that will ensure a successful a sports tournament.
According to the founder of 6-JoinTz Mpho Mokgethi, the workshop will be a good platform to network current teams, potential finalists, and potential sponsors in order to create a long lasting relationship.
“A lot of people have different perceptions when it comes to sports. Some play sports for fun, for a healthy living and some consider themselves as future stars of their respective sporting codes; therefore we cannot crush such dreams.”
In the past four years, 6-JoinTz has staged seven tournaments which include; soccer, netball, aerobics and fun walks.
“Some sporting codes such as soccer normally market themselves and we hardly experience difficulties with the teams and staging a successful tournament.
“On the other hand, netball is a challenge because different teams come with different ideas of how things should be staged or facilitated, hence we believe it will be essential for team representatives to attend the workshop,” said Mokgethi.
A maximum of two representatives are expected from each team and have to RSVP for catering purposes.
