A call for orphans in Ndofaya

St Joseph Ithuteng campaign still continues with their programme that seeks to assist orphans.

The St Joseph Ithutheng Campaign also known as the old age home is calling for guardians and the community to bring orphans and vulnerable children that need help at the centre.

The centre is situated at 519 Senzangakhona street in Meadowlands Zone 4, next to KwaPhalo Primary School.

Ithutheng social auxiliary worker Nosipho Maphumulo said the campaign helps orphans and vulnerable children aged between 5 to 18 years with psychosocial support, assist them with school work, refer them to relevant stakeholders and assist them with nutritional support.

“We want children from Meadowlands especially in Zone 4, 5, 6, Lily squatter camp and Dube Hostel.”

The campaign started in 2004 and according to Maphumulo they want to remind the community that the campaign is still ongoing.
