Missing Malume from Diepkloof found with injuries after a few days. When a family member goes missing, almost the whole family goes into inertia. Malume Pampoen Shawlin Thlakanye was found by the police around Lenasia idling the streets after being reported missing for a couple of days.
Bella More, a relative explained how Thlakanye was taken to Bheki Mlangeni hospital after getting into a few seizures. The family explained his medical condition and history at the hospital and how he has a mental illness. In the report it was not written that he was a mental case that was a flight risk.
Thlakanye was the admitted to Baragwanath Hospital to be treated then discharged, but his family was not informed that he was discharged. He fled the hospital and went missing only to be discovered by the police loitering around Lenasia. He was taken to another hospital, where he gave his home address.
