Coca Cola SA spreading cheer, Eldos

May their territory be enlarged

The ‘Klein Two’ flats came alive on December 15 last year. Coca Cola South Africa sponsored 30 food hampers and an assortment of toys to the Gail Britoe Foundation to spread cheer in the lives of many residents who find themselves going without during this period.

The children, unable to contain their excitement at the sight of the elves, dressed for the occasion, who distributed goodies and spread cheer to all the young children gathered assembled at the foundation.

Thunderclouds gathered and the grey skies did not dampen the enthusiasm of children and Coca Cola SA brightens Christmas for ‘The Klein Two’ residents residents alike who cheered as the elves drove up and entered the foundation’s premises to give them an early Christmas gift.

The toys accompanying the food hampers were the major attraction for the young eyes which lit up in anticipation of endless hours spent playing. These children could now take comfort in the knowledge that Santa had not forgotten about them.

Ensley Britoe, founder and chairperson at the foundation, thanked Coca Cola South Africa and expressed his hope that their territory be enlarged through similar acts of kindness.

Communities across South Africa face a bleak festive season as many households lack the financial resources to celebrate the season with the traditional fare so many take for granted.

This act of generosity from Coca Cola South Africa inspires hope and confidence in corporate South Africa that there are indeed business entities who reach out to communities in need through giving.
