MEG holds a series of workshops that improves lives.

Value-adding services and products which empowers individuals and organisations

The Mngoma Empowerment Group (MEG) is an organization which has the vision to bring out the best in people.

They do this by providing Value-adding services and products which empowers individuals and organisations, to simplify their lives. One of their flagship programmes is to assist organisations in Soweto and other surrounding areas, to help sustain those organisations through fund raising. The CEO for MEG Mzi Mngoma said, “Fundraising is a rare skill that is mastered by few people.”

It is for that reason that they are offering free fundraising workshops. The workshops will empower Co-operatives, Churches, and Day-care centres, SMMEs, Schools, SGBs, Stokvels NGOs, NPCs and new Ventures. According to Mngoma, “These organizations will benefit immensely from this intervention, in order to economically sustain themselves.”

The programme will cover the following aspects:

  • Why is fundraising a key element in any organization.
  • How to establish a Fundraising Team.
  • What is a Fundraising Proposal?
  • 10 Reasons many fundraising proposals fail.
  • How to attract donors.
  • How to use the power of technology to raise funds.
  • How to raise funds for every project.
  • New methods to fund raise and sustain your organization.
  • How to make 2017 the best year to raise funds for your organisation.

Basadi Holdings, will both Co-facilitate this highly interactive programme, which will be held at the MEG offices in Diepkloof Extension, Phase Two, opposite the tennis court.
