Young Entrepreneurs encouraging risk-takers, Eldos

All-in-one Digital Marketing training course offered to Come Back Mission.

Entrepreneurs are risk takers with drive and ambition who have a unique mindset which sets them apart from run of the mill businesses. Young Entrepreneurs (YE), a franchise model, aims to inculcate this sense of initiative and risk in children from the ages of seven, in an exciting, interactive way.

Franchisee, Talia Mikkelson recently hosted an Entrepreneurial Mindset workshop at Crisp Kitchen at the Crystal Mall in Extension Six. Mikkelson approached Stafford Masie to be a guest speaker at YE Eldorado Park following a search for Eldorado Park entrepreneurs on Google.

Masie is a key player in the Information Technology industry and is best known for playing a vital role in expanding Google’s reach in South Africa. She approached other ‘techpreneurs’ Alan Knott-Craig Jr. and Barry le Grange, who are entrepreneurs in their own right.

Comeback Mission and YE Eldorado Park launched their first workshop on November 16 and the speakers shared their personal experiences of failure and success with all who attended. The themes which stood out were that aspirant entrepreneurs need to nurture a spirit of excellence which would make them prominent for the right reasons.

A solution-based attitude would attract like-minded individuals. This, coupled with the ability to network, ensures that potential investors buy into the individual and the business, and would ensure that the proposed business venture thrives.

The speakers provided practical, real-life examples which attendees could relate to and they were left with a clearer understanding of what it entails to be a successful entrepreneur.

Barry Le Grange, who runs the Lowercase Academy, extended sponsorship to 10 students from Comeback Mission to join the All-In-One Digital Marketing Training Program which is valued at R35000 per student.

Video footage of Stafford Masie can be seen in the video below as he interacts with and answers questions from the workshop attendees.
