The Meadowlands police arrested a woman in connection with the stabbing death of her husband.
Meadowlands police spokesperson Octavia Thebe said that police believe that the deceased from Meadowlands Zone 5 was stabbed by his wife who resides at the same address.
Thebe said that the deceased was stabbed on the left side of his neck and was rushed to the Baragwanath Hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries and the knife was found on the scene and handed to the police.
The wife was arrested and will appear in court.
