NSFAS deadline is next week Wednesday
NSFAS has disbursed loans and bursaries to the tune R14 billion this year in support of students in order to access university and TVET colleges.

November 30 will be the last day for matriculants to apply for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme Bursary and Loans.

If you’re studying at a university or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and have been funded by NSFAS in 2016, you do not need to re-apply for funding in 2017.
All those interested and intend to register at a public university or TVET colleges for the first time in 2017 and need financial support, can now apply directly to NSFAS for financial aid.
Applications have since been open from August 1.
Please note that you can apply online or download a printable version of the application form.
To apply on the NSFAS website, you will be required to register first to create your personal online account; and then proceed to fill and submit the application form online.
Required scanned and certified documents include:
– Matric certificate
– Identity document or birth certificate
– Last academic results
– Proof of income (if parent is employed)
– Death certificate (if parent is deceased)
– Doctor’s certificate (if permanently disabled)
