Samuel Baloyi came to encourage the pupils

The prayer meeting for the class of 2016 took place in the Diepkloof Multipurpose Community Hall on October 20.

The purpose of the prayer meeting was to encourage pupils to excel, and pray for all the pupils ahead of their final examinations beginning on October 24.

The EOTOF took part in initiating the meeting because they want to assist in making South African schools excel.  According to a research the foundation conducted, approximately 128 schools were closed in South Africa so far, to date.

The Chapter secretary for EOTOF Skhalo Moratele explained that one of their foundation’s foundations is education.”

He elaborated that the foundation wants to help the government spread the culture of learning and teaching in schools and instil the core values of respect and discipline.

Moratele said, “Our foundation would like to thank the community and the Caxton Urban newspaper for their unyielding support.”

The pupils got to be motivated by the author of Winning tendencies, Samuel Baloyi (31), who is also a business man and pastor.

Baloyi urged the pupils to love their school work and adhere to the three P’s which stand for principles, process and perfomance.
Nsuku Lawrence Sithole who is Baloyi’s protégée and a motivational speaker explained to the pupils how a life of purpose differs from a purposeless life.

He said, “Everyone was born with a purpose, it is the reason God placed us on this earth.”

The prayer meeting was smooth and the pupils sang hymns and were urged to prepare with determination ahead of their exams.
