Ndofaya’s very own podcast radio station

Hood Empire Radio launches its first podcast

Hood Empire Fm from Meadowlands has launched its on-line version last week and is adamant to make strides in the community radio sphere.

The radio station aims to be the pioneers of kasi music by being the favoured platform for upcoming artists to gain exposure in their community.

After having gained some skills and experiences in different aspects of media, Mahlori Maluleke saw a need for talent management in Meadowlands and from that concept was born the idea of a radio station.

The radio station is said to be live in the near future but operates on YouTube as it is in its initiation phase.

Maluleke is a form student at the Tswane University of Technology and has gained some skills and connection after he founded an on-line magazine called SAL Magazine.

“I left SAL Magazine because I had achieved so much and needed space to grow.

“During the same time that I left the magazine, a friend of mine had started a Radio Station but it had not been aired at the time.

“After working together, we managed to make sure that the radio station goes on-line as a first phase, with a bigger goal of being well known in Meadowlands,” said Maluleke.
