Environmentorz and Kliptown Primary School are seeing the fruits of their labour

Giving the environment a voice.

The partnership between the environmental group, Environmentorz, and Kliptown Primary School is bearing fruit.

The group has taken the school under its wing and have installed a solar-powered geyser, a 5000l JoJo water tank, and planted vegetable tunnels at the school.

They focus on educating primary school pupils about the sustainability of small-scale farming, recycling, and upcycling through their ‘waste to art’ programme.

Environmentorz is dedicated to greening the environment and target the open spaces in Eldorado

Park for clearing of debris and rubble through landscaping which is aesthetically appealing.

Chantelle Taylor the group’s financial manager, says, “Because the environment has no voice, we are that voice”.

“We are seeking to establish permanent relationships with primary schools because children are more receptive to education,” said Julius Petersen, the operations manager.

The video clips below show enthusiastic pupils learning how to contribute to giving that voice to the environment.
