Born September 26, Winnie Madikizela Mandela had an early birthday celebration with the community and the greater ANC at Vilakazi Street Yesterday.
Marking her great revolutionary journey of 66 years in the struggle, Winnie started her celebrations during the week leading into the weekend.
Born in the village of Mbongweni, Bizana in Transkei, the ANC struggle leader had international guests contributing to her celebrations.
With the large green cake being the symbol of their celebration, both Winnie Mandela and ANC Woman’s League president Bathabile Dlamini cut the cake to share with everyone.
Being one of the keynote speakers of the day, Dlamini reiterated that the strong leadership that has been guarding the Woman’s League is enough to lead the country.
