No customer services for residents this Heritage Day

COJ has announced that all customer services will be closed this weekend due to the public holiday on Saturday.

Customer Service centres will be closed citywide this weekend on Heritage Day, due to it being a public holiday.

City’s Spokesperson Kgamanyane Maphologela said customers who wish to pay their accounts to utilize other third parties.

“We wish our customers a happy heritage day. Normal services at our customer services centres will resume as normal on Monday,” said Maphologela.

The City of Johannesburg is asking customers to pay their accounts using the listed methods below during all public holidays:

  • With EasyPay, facilitating a quick payment option at many shops that you visit on a regular basis, including Pick ‘n Pay and Shoprite Checkers
  • Debit orders
  • Direct deposits at major banks
  • ATMs
  • Internet and cell phone banking
  • SA Post Office

If you didn’t receive an account you still have to pay!

Maphologela said, “If you haven’t received an account, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 Joburg to enquire as to how much you owe. You can also register to receive your accounts by email.

All you need to do is to register on the City’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly.”

If there are residents that have any questions, they can log a query with Joburg Connect at 0860 Joburg (562 874).
