Police are on the hunt for unknown suspects accused of business robbery at zone 1 Meadowlands last week.
The complainant alleges that he was busy selling at the shop when an unknown man came and bought Kellogg’s.
As he was asking the man about his business he pointed him with a firearm and four other suspects came to join him.
The suspects took him to the outside room where he kept the stock and started to ransack the rooms.
Police spokesperson Octavia Thebe said: “The suspects took four boxes of cigarettes to the value of R55200 and R4000 cash.
“The suspects were driving a blue Honda ballad with the registration that starts with BT03 and a silver grey Toyota Corolla with an unknown registration.
“We are appealing to anyone who might have information about this business robbery or anyone who come across the mentioned vehicles to assist us in arresting the suspects,” said Thebe.
