Two held for dagga in Kliptown

Kliptown police stand firm against crime.

Two men are due to appear at the Kliptown Magistrate Court on charges relating to possession of dagga. The two men were arrested this past Sunday on Boundary Road in Kliptown.

According to police reports to police officers were patrolling in the area when the spotted the two men and asked to search them.

“Upon searching them, police found a substance believed to be dagga wrapped in plastic bags. The two men aged between 29 and 30 years were then detained at the Kliptown Police Station,” said constable Thuli Ngwenya.

The station commander at the Kliptown Police station has applauded the two arresting officers for their hard work and commitment to fighting crime.

“The dedication of the police officers and residents who collectively came forward with information is commended.

They put their lives at risk to protect others. Kliptown Policing Orlando Cluster will stand firm against the criminal elements.” said Ngwenya.
