Westbury Youth Centre gives back on Spring Day

Major sponsor Invested shares the day with the centre in Westbury

The Westbury Youth Centre together with its major sponsor Investec in partnership with Westbury Secondary School took part in a day of cleaning, refurbishing and cooking with the students of the centre for their Spring Day event.

Part of the days’ activities include cooking, painting, woodwork and placing white boards in the hostel rooms where the matriculants programme takes place yearly.

Advice and referral officer for the centre Bree Munnik said the matric programme is a very important aspect for Investec.

“They have come here so many times to refurbish the centre and it would not have looked this good without their assistance.

“Their assistance has made the centre a more productive learning space,” said Munnik.
