With the Grade 12, Preparatory Examination starting this week studying becomes a basic part of the matriculants’ life through this phase.
Subject tutor Maria Benjamin said that most of her stats show that students are prone to studying (going over their work as they would say) just before they start writing.
According to a long-time teacher, Gino Williams one should make sure to have a study timetable and stick to it.
“Studying has always assisted anyone but not having the right method to study becomes a problem for most students,” said Williams
Here are some more tips for not only matriculants but other grades to follow provided by Williams.
- Get enough sleep but this meaning not too much or too little sleep.
- Use as much of your senses as possible example reading out loud and then writing what you read.
- Know your body by waking up early and studying while your mind is still fresh because it is best not to study or look at a book an hour before u write.
- Give your mind at least an hour before you write to store the work.
- Lastly, eat healthy because the body adapts to the food you eat.
