Woman dies after being hit by train

A woman was allegedly bumped by a train this morning at about 7.25am at Longdale Train Station.
According to a security guard who works at the station she was leaning forward but while the train was moving.
“We saw her leaning forward ready to get off but never thought that she would get off.
“She got off and did not see another train coming and was bumped immediately,” he said.
Local authorities were on the scene but no further comments were given by them.
The woman apparently died on the scene
This incident follows another train incident approximately three weeks ago that saw a man jumping off a train in Riverlea.
