The Student’s Public Relations Association (SPRA) hosted its first Women’s conference last week Saturday to empower students within the public relations industry by running empowerment programmes.
The association commemorated the women of 1956, the Project manager (PM) Doctor Katanga said, ” We hosted our first Women’s conference in memory of the women who fought for gender equality and to encourage women in high positions and communication fields so they can excel in their careers.”
A few more speakers braced the conference like Boipelo Mabe a Soweto TV presenter and Nthabiseng Lebohang Rapuleng, the Account Executive of PR expert. Mabe said, ” Women need to push their voices and make sure they are heard. We should master the skill of making a mark with every decision.”
The Deputy chairperson for the association Sibongumusa Zwane th thanked his team for their dedication.
