Lead Change receives donations

LCD has been in the forefront of development for people living with disabilities.

The Gauteng Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) spent a day with Lead Change Developments as part of the 67 minutes for Mandela month of July of giving back.

Communications senior manager at GPAA, Mack Lewele, emphasised the importance of giving back and encouraged everyone
to make every day a Mandela day.

GPAA with Public Investment Corporation (PIC) led by Kwabena Baoteng Corporate Services gathered resources that were donated on the day, which included, 10 laptops, office tables, chairs, and filing cabinets.

The equipment donated goes a long way to serving the disabled community in providing free IT tuition.

Directors of LCD Shaun Solo and Senzo Mbonambi urged the community to not overlook the challenges that disable people face daily.

“The resources donated will help LCD achieve more of its objectives and accommodate more people living with disabilities to study IT at the Kopanong Community Centre,” said Soko.

The day was a success and the objective to serve the 67 minutes was accomplished.
