Ahead of the national elections next week, Mmusi Maimane visited the DA office in White City Jabavu. On July 26 Maimane was accompanied by Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate Herman Mashaba to campaign.
Ward 35 and 36 Councillor candidate Thabang Setle and Maureen Pitsane welcomed Mashaba and Maimane to the Jabavu DA office for a public meeting to address the community about the change they will bring and how they will resolve the issues affecting them.
Mashaba addressed unemployment and the need to create small businesses for financial empowerment. He said, “I started my business from humble beginnings to a company that employs many people.”
Maimane Discussed their plans and ambitions for youth empowerment and drugs, he promised people better service delivery, he said, ” DA will solve all the electricity outages and lower bills.”
