Foundation to open new branch

Community in the old Dobsonville to have a branch of their own.

Branch coordinator of 1st Generation Foundation, Jabu Mngoma said a new branch will soon be opened in the old Dobsonville.

Mngoma said this is to accommodate people who cannot travel or reach Dobsonville Extension three with ease.

“The branch will perform the same duties like those of the mother body.

“Activities like drug awareness workshops, mentorship programmes to restore self-esteem and hosting unemployed youth workshops,” he said.

Mngoma said the foundation wishes to empower young people on small business development and encourage them to fulfil their dreams.

The foundation seeks people to volunteer and to help it accomplish its objectives.

“We urge sponsors to come on board in order to make these programmes a reality,” said Mngoma.
