Pair from Westbury off to Olympics

Keagan Dolly and Tyroane Sandows to represent SA U23 side in Rio.

Tyroane Sandows who plays for a team in Brazil and Keagan Dolly from Sundowns both from Westbury, will both be representing South Africa at the Olympics in Rip De Janeiro in August.

The pair will playing in the U23 squad for Bafana Bafana and hopes to shine at the Olympics.

Dolly and Sandows have both started locally to get where they and currently have a huge database of followers in the Westside area.`

Dolly’s father Ramon Dolly said he is a proud father and happy that his son has become a role model for youngsters from Westbury.

“It is really unbelievable and I couldn’t be happier.

“I am grateful for all the hard work that my son has put in and I hope both of them perform for our country to uplift our community,” said Ramon.

Today at 2pm the community of Westbury in partnership with Kofifi Fm will be hosting a farewell function for the pair.

Anyone is invited to come and support the guys at the event as community stakeholders, city officials and celebrities will be present.
