Children given new school shoes for motivation

New shoes, hope for children.

Senaoane based Ten 4 ix Productions embarked on a full school uniform donations to primary schools based in Senaoane.

The donation campaign kicked off last year with a fundraising event hosted at Senaoane Swimming Pool where they pledged for school shoes to donate to needy children.

The production manager Musawenkosi Mbatha said giving back to the community is in the forefront of their productions and they will always make sure that they reach out to less privileged children in Soweto and other areas.

“It is our responsibility to fund, help and provide love and uniform to underprivileged children in our areas, if we as adults don’t play our role in the lives of our children then we are raising a lost generation.

“With this campaign, we do not just donate uniform and shoes, but it gives us the opportunity to learn from these children’s experiences in life and also share our guidances and advises.”

Mbatha said: “The uniform given to Maweni and Sibongile Primary Schools were just a start of bigger things we will be doing to our pupils in our areas, a lot of positive life changing project are coming from Ten 4 Six Productions.

“We owe our success to these children with no parents at all or with irresponsible parents, we made a vow that no child will suffer while we are here.”

One of the uniform beneficiary, 6-year-old, Anele Brown said: “I’m happy and grateful for the uniform given to me, this motivates me and I will focus on my studies now that I do match with other children.”
