It’s the first time this prestigious international event is coming to Soweto. Will you be there?

The Color Run has confirmed rumours that for the first time in the history of the event, Soweto has been added to the calendar.

The Color Run is about health, happiness (aka FUN), individuality, and giving back to the community. Pick a charity, get a “Fun Raiser” code, and get all your mpentjes get tickets under your code. Uplift the community while you uplift your spirits (no extra cost to you – nice).

Can’t find a charity to support? Head over to Soweto TV and support theirs – because they have the community’s back. There’s also loads of info about The Color Run on Channel 251, so stayed tuned. You might even win some tickets.

Headline act

The headline sponsor of The Color Run, Capitec Bank, has made it possible for R10 to be donated to education for each ticket sold. Following the advice from Adopt-A-School, we will identify a school in need in the area, and address its most pressing requirements.

Tickets are available online from The Color Run website (https://thecolorrun.co.za and Facebook (www.facebook.com/TheColorRunSouthAfrica). Individual ticket prices are R250 and R225 for groups of 4 or more. Manual entry points are listed on our website.

Color Runners will each receive a race pack which includes a 2016 edition Race T-Shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos, and a race number.

Additionally, every Color Runner will receive a R200 voucher from Takealot.com for the purchase of The Color Run powder and merchandise, as well as a R200 voucher from Superbalist to be redeemed against a minimum spend of R250.
