Police bust suspect for possession of stolen property

Two other people were arrested for separate incidents of stolen property.

Eldorado Park Detectives arrested a 21-year-old suspect on Thursday for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and chopped vehicle parts in Mimosa street, Extension Three.

The stolen vehicle was a blue sedan – Hyundai Accent that was reported stolen in Cleveland.

“Our detectives received this vital information from an anonymous law abiding citizen and swiftly proceeded to the scene,” Captain Phillemon Khorombi said.

On the same premises police recovered one gear box, doors, grills and radios.

The suspect will appear at court as soon as possible.

“Thanks to the community of Eldorado Park who are working with us, this relationship is yielding positive results,” said Khorombi.

In another incident police received information about stolen palisade fence.

They proceeded to the scene and arrested a 37-year-old suspect.

Also in Park street Eldorado Park police arrested a 36-year-old suspect for possession of vehicle which was tracked down by a tracker company.

“We are on the alert of stolen and suspicious vehicles,” Khorombi said.
