The search for Bongiwe continues

Community Safety MEC visits missing girl’s family.

Yesterday December 9, MEC for Community Safety Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane visited the family of the missing girl, Bongiwe Ngubeni.

Nkosi-Malobane’s visit gave hope to the Ngubeni family that the police’s search for the child will intensify.

“MEC‘s visits gave me a bit of hope that my child will be found and the police have promised to increase their search,” said Mbali Ngubeni, Bongiwe’s mother.

The 34-year-old mother shared her frustrations on how she cannot cope without her daughter.

“I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I just cannot do anything because I don’t know where my baby is, all I want is to get her back,” said Ngubeni.

She also advised other parents to keep an eye on their children, especially now that it’s festive season.

Bongiwe has been missing since December 1, and she was last seen wearing a pink top and multi-coloured skirt.

If you have seen the girl or know her whereabouts, contact the nearest police station.
