Suspects who attempted a robbery at Ndofaya Mall and shot a security guard on December 6 are on the run.
According to police spokesperson Phephi Matlou-Mteto the security guard was shot during the attempted robbery but is in a stable condition in hospital.
The guard was apparently collecting money at the mall on the afternoon of December 6 when an unknown number of suspects confronted him.
The suspects fled the scene after the security guard opened fire on them.
No arrests have been made and police are still investigating the matter. Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
