This past Saturday, Tshepo ‘Thiza’ Ngwane was laid to rest at the Lenasia Cemetery where his beloved family said their last goodbyes with tears pouring down their faces.
He is survived by his mother Sonto Mashinini, children, sisters and brothers.
Ngwane will be remembered by his family and friends for his humble and cheerful character and his ability to spread love.
Better known as Thiza, he will be remembered for his contribution towards the development of arts and culture amongst the youth.
“His dream might not have been realised in his time but will be resurrected in the future as he has reproduced himself in the local youth and his name has been penned down in the books of history.
“He was a brother to be looked upon, always ready with a word of inspiration and encouragement.
“Now that he is gone, only now do we come to fully understand who he was,” said the family representative Vusi Ngwane.
