A man is wanted in connection with the Protea Glen rape which occurred on July 2 at about 8:30pm.
The man threatened a 29-year-old woman with a knife and dragged her to the open space in Protea Glen Extension 11 opposite the Old Caltex Filling Station.
Police said the man allegedly raped the woman and even stabbed her on the neck.
The woman managed to run away from the perpetrator and left her handbag which had money and a cellphone.
