Urgent water interruption notice to Dobsonville residents
Dobsonville residents to stay nine hours without water due to maintenance.
Johannesburg Water (JW), the City’s water and sanitation service provider would like to inform residents living in Dobsonville about a planned water disruption.
Spokesperson Eleanor Mavimba said the reason there will be water interruptions on November 5, is because the entity will be closing a valve to conduct maintenance on the distribution system.
Mavimbela said this will improve service delivery and continuation of water supply to residents.
“Johannesburg Water wishes to apologise to the residents in affected areas and undertakes to have the interruption resolved quickly,” she said.
The affected areas include Dobsonville, Dobsonville Extension 1, Dobsonville Extension 2, Dobsonville Extension 3, Dobsonville Extension 4, Dobsonville Extension 5 and Dobsonville Extension 7.
