Trevor takes comedy’s biggest stage

Trevor Noah nails first episode.

From the dusty streets of Soweto to New York, Trevor Noah takes the comedy world by storm.

Taking over from the recently retired Jon Stewart as the host of The Daily Show, Noah made his debut Monday night, September 28 in the USA.

South Africans caught on with the rest of the world as the show was televised Tuesday night, September 29 at 9pm on Comedy Central DSTV channel 122.

Social media was abuzz with many congratulating Noah on having achieved an extraordinary milestone in comedy history.

“I never dreamed that I would have an indoor toilet and a job as host of The Daily Show,” he said.

Mulichoice has opened the channel to all compact subscribers for the week, from September 28 till October 2, to allow viewers the opportunity to view the show freely for that period, as Noah continues to fly the South African flag high.
